Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 10, Tesla China officially put the refreshed Model Y onto the Chinese market. The vehicle is available in two trim levels, priced at 263,500 yuan and 303,500 yuan, respectively.

The exterior of the updated Model Y includes a new design that reduces aerodynamic drag. In addition, the model maintains Tesla's signature elements, featuring a panoramic sunroof, frameless doors, and hidden door handles.
Inside, the refreshed Model Y offers a 15-inch square display powered by an AMD Ryzen processor. New additions include wrap-around ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, rear seats extended by 15mm, and 2,130 liters of storage space.
The vehicle provides 16 speakers and comes standard with far-side airbags, AI 4.0 hardware, and eight cameras, offering a robust body structure and advanced driver assistance feature that the automaker said to be ten times safer than human driving.

Under the hood, the refreshed Model Y includes the rear-wheel drive, the long-range all-wheel drive, and the performance variants, which can deliver maximum outputs of 220 kW, 331 kW, and 357 kW, respectively, and achieve acceleration times from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, 5 seconds, and 3.7 seconds, respectively.
Tesla claimed that the refreshed Model Y is the longest-range Model Y ever, with the long-range all-wheel drive variant offering an estimated range of 719 kilometers under the CLTC condition. It boasts an energy consumption of 11.9 kWh per 100km, and a 15-minute charging session can replenish approximately 250 kilometers of range for the new Model Y.
