The new facility spans 5,000 square meters and has officially entered production following its startup phase. Initial operations will focus on Column Electric Power Steering (CEPS) systems, which integrate the motor, controller, and sensors within the steering column to deliver precise and efficient steering performance.

Nexteer noted that the new plant will help meet rising demand for advanced motion control technology in Southeast Asia while improving response times and service support for local automakers. This move solidifies the company's standing as a key supplier in the region. With the Thailand facility now operational, Nexteer's global network includes 27 manufacturing plants, 5 technical centers, and 13 customer service centers, covering all major automotive markets worldwide.

A Nexteer executive described the Thailand plant as a critical strategic investment to deepen the company's presence in Southeast Asia. As production ramps up, the company plans to evaluate new growth opportunities to better tap into the potential of the Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asian markets. Moving forward, Nexteer intends to use the facility as a hub for driving technological innovation, supporting the goal of safe and green mobility.
