Gasgoo Munich- NIO Inc. delivered 37,408 vehicles in September 2026, up 7.7% from a year earlier, according to the latest data released by the company. For the first three quarters of this year, cumulative deliveries climbed 49.2% to 300,301 units. To date, NIO's total historical deliveries have reached 1,297,893 vehicles.

Breaking down the performance by brand, NIO's three-brand portfolio showed strong momentum across both September and the first three quarters. The NIO brand delivered 21,318 vehicles in September, while its ONVO brand handed over 8,763 units. The FIREFLY brand, meanwhile, recorded 7,327 deliveries.
During the first nine months, the NIO brand accounted for 181,988 of those deliveries, followed by ONVO with 70,191 and FIREFLY with 48,122. All three brands notched record highs for the period, signaling that NIO's multi-brand strategy—spanning different price points and market segments—is paying off.
In the premium sector, the NIO brand continues to strengthen its position. On September 21, the automaker handed over its 1,000,000th vehicle, bringing its total to 1,011,597 units. Data indicates the brand's average transaction price remains firmly above 400,000 yuan, securing the top market share for vehicles priced above that threshold between January and August. On the model front, the all-new ES8 has surpassed 150,000 deliveries since its launch a year ago, leading both the large SUV segment and the 400,000-yuan class. The ES9, meanwhile, crossed the 30,000-unit mark in just 119 days, claiming the sales crown in the 500,000-yuan electric vehicle category for three consecutive months.
NIO also made significant strides in September regarding its charging infrastructure and partnerships. On September 26, the company's 4,125th battery swap station went online at Sayram Lake, marking the full completion of the NIO Silk Road swap route. Spanning 3,605 kilometers from Xi'an in Shaanxi province to Khorgos in Xinjiang, the route features 33 swap stations along the way. With this corridor now open, users can drive from any swap station in the country and reach all provincial-level administrative regions in mainland China using battery swapping.
On September 28, NIO signed a comprehensive strategic partnership with Zhejiang Geely Holding Group to collaborate on charging and battery swapping. The two companies will work together on technology, operations, and capital investment—including joint stakes in their respective charging and swapping entities. They also agreed to share technical standards and co-build service networks.
