Nissan Motor Co.'s sales in China, including sales of its Infiniti luxury brand, rose 39% in 2009 to 756,000 units, the company said Thursday.
Sales of the Japanese auto maker's passenger vehicles in China rose 48% to a record 518,968 units in 2009 from 350,520 units in 2008, it said.
Nissan operates a joint venture in China called Dongfeng Motor Co., which also makes commercial vehicles.
