PARIS (Reuters) -- Japanese carmaker Nissan today reported record October sales in Europe of 50,048 units, up 21.9 percent year on year.
Year to date, Nissan has sold 472,117 units, up 5.4 percent compared with last year.
The company said sales were up for the seventh consecutive month due to the success of its compact cross-over Qashqai as well as the new X-Trail which was launched fully in September.
Renault has a 44.4 percent stake in alliance partner Nissan.
