Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo has learned that onsemi and Geely Auto Group announced a broader global strategic partnership on April 25, sharpening their focus on the development of next-generation pure electric and hybrid vehicles. The alliance aims to deepen the system-level integration of onsemi's advanced silicon carbide (SiC) technology into Geely's vehicle platforms, accelerating the R&D process for high-efficiency EVs.

Under the agreement, Geely showcased its SEP Haohan Super Hybrid System, which features onsemi's EliteSiC power technology at its core. Leveraging this tech, the new generation of models can fully exploit high-voltage architectures—delivering sharper acceleration, extended range, and significantly shorter charging times.
