Gasgoo.com (Shanghai February 27) - The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has accepted a recall order for its imported Suzuki Jimny, caixun.com reported today. The recall, which will begin tomorrow, will target 13,227 Jimny SUVs manufactured between February 2007 and January of this year.

The Jimny SUVs (pictured) targeted have an issue with shaky tires, whose vibration may spread to the front suspension. As a result, the steering wheel may also begin shaking, which may be potentially dangerous and is a violation of Chinese safety standards.

Suzuki China will conduct free inspection and maintenance of all recalled vehicles.
