Since the start of 2025, Denza has maintained a robust upward trajectory in the premium new-energy market. Official figures show annual sales climbed 24.7% to 157,134 units, driven by a dual-product strategy spanning SUVs and MPVs. Momentum peaked in December with a record 18,139 units delivered — a 36.8% surge from November — underscoring strong market acceptance. The six-seat luxury SUV Denza N8L, launched on October 28, quickly gained traction, racking up 11,953 sales in just two months.
The Denza N8L targets the 300,000-yuan luxury NEV SUV segment — a core high-growth lane that surpassed 1.3 million units in 2025. Over the long term, market space is set to expand as premium electrification deepens and consumption upgrades take hold in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The demographic skews toward multi-child families aged 35 to 45, who prioritize space, safety, and intelligent features. Gasgoo Automotive forecasts N8L sales could top 50,000 units by 2026, placing it among the leaders in the 250,000–350,000-yuan six-seat NEV SUV category. A more affordable entry-level variant could further accelerate that growth.

Inside, the N8L features a 17.3-inch central touchscreen paired with a 13.2-inch full digital cluster. The cabin employs soft-touch materials and translucent real wood accents, while "Cloud Perch" seats offer zero-gravity positioning across four scenario modes. Acoustic comfort is handled by double-layer glass and a Devialet sound system with Dolby Atmos, delivering a studio-grade experience. Practicality is also key: the vehicle offers 49 storage spaces, an 11-liter smart refrigerator, and an AR projection-sensing tailgate, blending comfort with convenience.
On the driver-assist front, the N8L runs on an NVIDIA DRIVE Orin X chip delivering 254 TOPS of computing power. Its sensor suite includes 13 exterior cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and one 192-line RoboSense LiDAR. While this hardware setup rivals the Li Auto L8, its computing power falls short of the L8's 700 TOPS. Paired with the DiPilot 300 system, the vehicle supports high-end functions such as door-to-door autonomous driving, automated parking, and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot).

The N8L is powered by a self-developed 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid engine paired with three electric motors, generating a combined output of 560 kW. That propels the SUV from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds — outperforming the Li Auto L8 (330 kW / 5.3 seconds) and the AITO M8 (392 kW / 5.2 seconds). It uses a plug-in hybrid Blade battery offering 230 km of CLTC pure-electric range and 1,300 km of total range, effectively eliminating range anxiety. A fast charge from 30% to 80% takes just 19 minutes. The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry prioritizes safety and stability, while the fifth-generation DM technology ensures the powertrain remains efficient and reliable.
The chassis features an all-aluminum suspension structure with double wishbones at the front and five links at the rear. Combined with the DiSus-A control system and road preview technology, the setup is comparable to the Li Auto L8 and AITO M8. A rear-wheel steering system enables a class-leading turning radius of just 4.58 meters, enhancing agility, while six-piston fixed calipers bring the vehicle to a halt from 100 km/h in 35.4 meters.
