The Lunar New Year holiday trimmed the usual February lineup. According to Gasgoo’s partial tally, five key models are set to hit the market or debut this month, including the buzzworthy iCAR V27, Fengyun T9L, and the new Sportage. Here is a rundown of the vehicles arriving in February 2026.

2026 BMW 5 Series / i5

BMW officially rolled out the 2026 5 Series and i5 on February 2. The new 5 Series comes in seven variants priced between 368,000 and 448,000 yuan, while the i5 offers three models ranging from 368,000 to 458,000 yuan. As annual updates, these models focus on configuration upgrades, but the real headline is the official price cut—slashed by 70,000 to 90,000 yuan.

Visually, the 2026 5 Series adopts the Neue Klasse design language, blending brand heritage with modern tech. The internal combustion and i5 variants share a nearly identical face, featuring a closed, ring-shaped illuminated grille that lights up the night with high recognizability.

Under the hood, the 2026 5 Series pairs a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system across the lineup. It offers two tunes—190 horsepower (525Li) and 258 horsepower (530Li)—mated to an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The i5 comes in single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor AWD configurations, with CLTC ranges of 602 km, 713 km, and 651 km.

The model has already filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Design-wise, the QQ3 EV features a closed front fascia paired with oval headlights, with daytime running lights that add a stylish touch. It gets semi-hidden door handles and low-drag wheels, while rounded taillights echo the front. Dimensions check in at 4,195 mm long, 1,811 mm wide, and 1,569 mm tall, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase.

Inside, the cabin sports a black-and-white two-tone scheme accented by bright yellow and chrome elements. It packs a full digital cluster and a large floating central screen, along with 256-color ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, and AI voice interaction. The Falcon 500 driver-assistance system supports city NOA, all-scenario parking, and urban memory navigation.

On the power front, it uses a 58-kilowatt motor paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by Gotion High-Tech, with a top speed of 125 km/h.

iCAR V27

The iCAR V27 is the second model from the iCAR brand, positioned as a "smart hardcore large five-seat SUV." The first production unit rolled off the line in January, with a market launch expected this month.

Styling stays true to the family’s rugged aesthetic—think classic boxy silhouette. The front is fashionably tough, with a rough front bumper and round headlights that exude power and retro charm. The "iCAR" logo is embedded beside the left headlight in a blacked-out treatment, giving it a distinct visual signature.

The interior is dubbed the "Interstellar Cockpit," featuring a "Starship Porthole" dual sunroof and a "Sky Island" roof that integrates ambient lights and expansion modules. It includes a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 15.4-inch floating display, both noted for sharp resolution and smooth operation.

Power comes from Chery’s Gold Range Extender system (the same setup found in the Luxeed R7), combining a 1.5-liter turbo range extender with electric motors. Buyers can choose single-motor rear-drive or dual-motor AWD. The 1.5T extender puts out 115 kW, while the front and rear motors in the AWD version deliver 150 kW and 185 kW respectively. Total system output hits 335 kW, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of 5.5 seconds. CLTC pure electric range is 210 km, with total range exceeding 1,200 km.

Fengyun T9L

The Fengyun T9L is a new hybrid SUV under Chery’s Fengyun brand. Blind pre-orders opened on January 17, with an official launch expected after the Spring Festival.

Externally, the T9L uses an "Oriental Aesthetic" design language. The front is clean and grand, with a closed grille and slim lights creating a high-tech vibe. Optional equipment includes 20-inch wheels wrapped in 245/50 R20 Michelin tires, with the charging port located on the left rear side.

Inside, it features the latest family design, the "Lingxi" cockpit, and a 3nm flagship chip. On the intelligence front, the car runs the Falcon 700 advanced driving assistance system with 560 TOPS of computing power. It supports "Task Cube" personalization and is equipped with a 3nm 8678 cockpit chip.

The Fengyun T9L runs on Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM system, built around a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 115 kW and 220 Nm of torque. The four-wheel-drive version boasts a maximum system output of 260 kW and 330 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h time in the 5-second range.

New Kia Sportage

As a mid-cycle refresh, the new Sportage rolls off the assembly line on February 7, with a market launch likely later this month.

Up front, the facelift introduces redesigned "Star Map" angular daytime running lights, flanked by a horizontal black grille and chrome trim to create a wider stance. The rear gets a full-width light bar matching the front, along with a sporty spoiler and a two-tone rear bumper for added depth.

The cabin adopts a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a redesigned center console area ahead of the armrest. Tech upgrades include the next-generation ccNC infotainment system, a large HUD, UWB digital key, and intelligent IFS projection headlights.

Built on the i-GMP platform, the new Sportage offers a choice of two turbocharged engines: a 1.5-liter and a 2.0-liter, both paired with an 8AT transmission. The 1.5T engine peaks at 147 kW, while the 2.0T delivers 180 kW.
