Passenger vehicles price saw further decline

In general auto prices in May maintained in a stable position, but the price of passenger vehicles declined further in the past month.

Price of China-made vehicles dropped 0.29% in May compared with the previous month and was 2.01% lower than in the beginning of this year.

Passenger vehicle's price was down 0.52%, while this percentage was 0.17 last month, the entry-level model and the sport model declined by 0.59% and 0.68% respectively. The price of mini-buses saw a growth of 0.20 percent compared with that of April.

The price of commercial vehicles rose by 0.32 percent but still had a 1.52 percent decline in comparison with the beginning of this year; the price of light buses increased by 0.16%, light vans and heavy vans decreased by 1.01% and 0.13%; medium-sized vans saw a price surge of 4.84 percent than April; imported vehicles went up by 0.23% in May, of which imported car witnessed a price increase of 1.42 percent and price of imported SUVs was down 1.20 percent.
