The agreement seeks to integrate Pateo's market presence, engineering prowess, and productization capabilities in the automotive sector with Yunji Technology's leadership in intelligent commercial service robots and embodied intelligence. By collaborating across five key dimensions—joint technology development, shared scenarios, secured supply chains, mutual market growth, and ecosystem integration—the partnership aims to boost core product competitiveness and expand global market share.

The partnership involves deep collaboration across several specific areas:

Regarding joint development and application of robotic scenarios, the companies will explore deploying robots within automotive factories. They will also investigate the use of embodied intelligence robots for material handling and assembly assistance on auto parts production lines. Once these scenarios are successfully implemented, the mature solutions will be marketed to other clients in automotive manufacturing and the broader industrial sector.

In the realm of smart audio systems, Yunji Technology plans to prioritize integrating Pateo's smart sound technology into its robot development. This system replaces traditional speakers to enable "skin-based sound," delivering a more natural human-machine interaction experience.

On the supply chain and manufacturing front, the two will coordinate resources and launch joint procurement for key materials like chips to enhance security and stability. Additionally, Pateo will leverage its precision electronics manufacturing capabilities to provide OEM and EMS services for critical components such as robot control modules, helping Yunji Technology optimize parts costs while improving product consistency and quality reliability.

For frontier technology collaboration, the partners will jointly research a "brain-small brain" collaborative intelligence architecture based on OpenHarmony. This effort aims to drive innovation breakthroughs and the industrial application of OpenHarmony in the field of embodied intelligence.

Pateo described the partnership as a significant milestone in its strategic layout for embodied intelligence. Recently, the company joined the application working group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's standardization technical committee for humanoid robots and embodied intelligence. It also signed a strategic agreement with the Artificial Intelligence Operating System Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and established technical collaborations with NVIDIA, Horizon Robotics, and SenseTime. Furthermore, Pateo has secured a project designation from another leading domestic robotics "brain" company.
