Gasgoo Munich- On March 26, Gasgoo learned that Pony.ai released unaudited financial data for the full year and fourth quarter of 2025. The report shows total annual revenue reached 629 million yuan, marking growth for the fourth consecutive quarter. The fourth quarter alone contributed 204 million yuan.

The Robotaxi business saw significant growth. Full-year revenue for this segment hit 116 million yuan, a 129% jump from the previous year. In the fourth quarter alone, Robotaxi revenue reached 46.6 million yuan — a 160% year-on-year increase. Notably, fare revenue from passengers surged more than 500% during the period.
Pony.ai co-founder and CEO James Peng said the company achieved broad expansion across revenue, fleet size, operational reach, and user base in 2025. Crucially, the unit economics for Robotaxis turned positive in several of China's first-tier cities, validating the business model's commercial viability.
Looking ahead to 2026, Pony.ai plans to rapidly replicate its proven operational model across more than 20 cities globally, with a target of expanding its Robotaxi fleet to over 3,000 vehicles. The seventh-generation Bozhi 4X Robotaxi, developed in partnership with Toyota, has entered mass production. With 1,000 units already locked in for this year, the model is poised for large-scale market deployment.
On the financial front, Pony.ai held 10.59 billion yuan in cash, cash equivalents, and short- and long-term investments and wealth management products as of the end of 2025. Its active Robotaxi fleet has already surpassed 1,400 vehicles, laying the groundwork for hitting the 3,000-unit target by year-end.
