Gasgoo Munich- On Jan. 26, Qiao Xinyu, deputy general manager of Arcfox's user operations center at BAIC BJEV, took to social media with a sharp observation. After Mr. Jiang of Deepal posted a Weibo entry related to Arcfox, certain media outlets and accounts seized the opportunity to fuel the hype, deliberately spreading unverified information and allowing the controversy to snowball.

Addressing the fallout, Qiao issued a stern rebuttal. "Arcfox has never engaged in malicious attacks, and we firmly reject any conduct that disrupts market order," he stated. "The unauthorized reposting and dissemination of unverified claims have caused substantial harm to our brand's reputation, and we reserve the right to pursue further accountability."
Qiao went further, emphasizing Arcfox's identity as a "new state-owned automaker." The brand strictly adheres to regulations on online public opinion management set by the Cyberspace Administration of China and other authorities, and it firmly resists organized malicious hype like internet water armies and black PR. "We stand by the principle that truth is truth, and falsehood is falsehood," he wrote. "We answer all doubts with product strength and user reputation. We hold the industry's bottom line and refuse to participate in baseless mudslinging."
In closing, Qiao stressed that the auto industry is navigating a period of profound adjustment. With the January chill still lingering over the market, the sector needs solidarity more than ever. He called on industry peers to channel their real energy and resources into product R&D, technological innovation, and customer service. The goal, he argued, should be to maintain a healthy market environment rather than wasting time and resources on meaningless mutual attacks and spreading falsehoods. "Arcfox stands ready to work with all peers to focus on users and products, overcome current challenges, and drive the high-quality development of China's auto industry."

Reports indicate that a blogger recently noted, "A casual search lately turns up nothing but AI-generated press releases about 'Arcfox vs. Deepal,' and the AI-generated style and targeted nature are unmistakable." In response to these comments, Deepal CEO Jiang Hairong reposted the entry with a reply: "Thank you for the suggestion. We will use legal channels to secure and verify evidence. We are determined to crack down on industry 'black water armies' and uphold a clean and healthy public discourse."
