Urban NOA solution debuts in Europe
QCraft’s European test ride program features its QCraft Chengfeng Navigation Assistance Driving Solution. Based on its physical AI technology, the solution is equipped with 11 cameras and one LiDAR sensor, and adopts an end-to-end technical approach to support both highway NOA and urban NOA functions.
The solution has been optimized for European road scenarios, with enhanced perception capabilities for local conditions such as complex urban traffic lights. QCraft said this marks the first public appearance of its urban NOA solution in Europe.
Paris driving tests validate local adaptation
QCraft has completed multi-scenario urban NOA driving tests in Paris, covering major urban areas and highways. The tests included complex intersections, roundabouts, high-curvature ramps, traffic light recognition, and interactions with pedestrians and vehicles.
QCraft said the tests demonstrated the solution’s adaptability to complex European traffic environments and showed progress toward deploying urban NOA functions in Europe.
Technology platform and commercialization experience
The QCraft Chengfeng assisted driving solution is built on a physical AI architecture combining world models and reinforcement learning. The company said the system uses a safety-oriented and interpretable end-to-end approach, allowing driving decisions to be traced and verified while meeting European functional safety requirements.
Supported by a cloud-based toolchain developed through more than one million mass-production deployments in China, the solution can be adapted to different vehicle models from European automakers, according to QCraft.
QCraft said its Chengfeng assisted driving solution has been deployed in more than one million mass-produced vehicles and implemented across over 40 vehicle models through cooperation with more than 10 major Chinese automakers.
