Shanghai, July 1 (Gasgoo.com) An executive of French automaker Renault S.A.'s China office said on Tuesday that the company would not set up dealers in Chinese market any more but will replace it with another marketing system, reports the Jinghua newspaper.
"We plans to contract out the whole sales network to a third party," said Mr. Chen Guozhang, Chief Executive Officer of Renault's Greater China division.
Renault announced the setting up of its Greater China division in April in an effort to boost the competitiveness of Renault in the Chinese market.
The French carmaker expects to achieve sales of up to 3,000 cars in China this year, with all of them being sold through imported channels.
