RoboSense reported record quarterly LiDAR sales of 595,600 units in the third quarter of 2026, up 220.9% year on year, according to its announcement issued on October 9. Sales in the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) segment reached 450,400 units, an increase of 200.1%, while sales in the robotics segment rose 309.0% to 145,200 units.

For the first nine months of 2026, the company sold a total of 1,314,800 LiDAR units, including 887,000 units for ADAS applications and 427,800 units for robotics.
To address diverse perception requirements in robotics, RoboSense continues to develop its proprietary chips and digital LiDAR products. In July 2026, it launched the E2, which the company describes as the world's smallest high-precision, ultra-wide-angle solid-state digital LiDAR. The product is equipped with RoboSense's proprietary "Peacock" SPAD-SoC chip, featuring an ultra-large pixel array, and entered its first mass-production application in September.
RoboSense's digital perception products are used in a range of applications, including embodied AI, robotic lawn mowers, industrial material handling and commercial cleaning. The company said it ranked first globally in 3D LiDAR shipments among robotics-focused suppliers from 2025 through the first half of 2026, and led several individual robotics market segments.
In the ADAS segment, RoboSense is expanding its automotive applications as high-channel-count digital LiDAR systems gain traction in mass-produced vehicles. Production models equipped with multiple digital LiDAR units, combining a primary sensor with additional sensors to cover blind spots, are also emerging in vehicles with L2-level driver assistance. These configurations are creating further opportunities for RoboSense to expand the deployment of its digital LiDAR products in the automotive market.
