Rolls Royce to offer HD radio on its 2010-11 models

Surprising as it may sound, but it is True ! Rolls Royce, the luxury car manufacturer, has decided to offer HD radio as a standard feature on all of its 2010 and 2011 models.

The latest announcement makes Rolls-Royce the second auto company in the world to offer HD radio as a standard feature after Swedish carmaker Volvo.

In a similar move, Mercedes has also decided to offer same facility to its buyers opting for cars on all of its 2011 models. Apart from this, five others auto companies, which includes Audi, Ford, Kia, Lincoln and Mercury, have also committed to offer HD Radio Technology to its customers.

Reports suggest that, HD Radio stations are available to 85% of the U.S. population.
