Gasgoo Munich- On March 2, German motion technology group Schaeffler AG entered into a partnership with Leju Robotics Technology Co., Ltd., deepening its footprint in China's fast-growing humanoid robotics sector.

This is the first cooperation with a Chinese company, joining existing partnerships with well-known manufacturers in Europe and the USA, and represents an important step for Schaeffler in expanding its presence in the global humanoid ecosystem.
The agreement marks Schaeffler's first robotics collaboration in China, adding to its network of partners in Europe and the United States and signaling a broader push to position itself within the global humanoid supply chain.
The aim of the cooperation is to advance the use of humanoid robots in industrial applications such as intelligent factory inspection, equipment operation support, logistics, and human–robot collaboration.
Both sides intend to focus on practical industrial use cases, including automated factory inspection, operational assistance, intralogistics and closer human–robot interaction on production lines.
By 2035, Schaeffler plans to integrate a mid-four-digit number of humanoids into its own production.
Looking ahead, Schaeffler has outlined plans to deploy a mid-four-digit number of humanoid robots across its own manufacturing operations by 2035, underscoring its long-term automation ambitions.
