Seeds | Boundary.AI Closes Series B Round Exceeding 100 Million Yuan

Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo reported on April 16 that Boundary.AI, a Chinese supplier of high-safety flight control systems for civil aviation, has closed a Series B round exceeding 100 million yuan. Xiamen C&D led the investment, with participation from Zhangke Yaokun and Xingqi Weilai, while existing backers Yida Capital and Highlight Capital doubled down.

Proceeds will primarily drive airworthiness certification efforts, build mass production capacity, and fund R&D for cutting-edge airborne equipment, according to the company. The move makes Boundary.AI one of the first eVTOL flight control firms in China to reach the Series B stage.

With this round, Boundary.AI claims the title of China's first eVTOL flight control company to close a Series B round. It also stands out as an early player in the low-altitude economy supply chain to secure nine-figure funding.

Founded in 2020, Boundary.AI specializes in developing flight control and autopilot systems for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft that meet civil aviation airworthiness standards. The company focuses its efforts on the urban air mobility (UAM) sector.

The company has already rolled out several airworthiness-grade systems, including the R3 and C3, and has forged deep partnerships with multiple aircraft OEMs.
