Gasgoo Munich - BeingBeyond recently updated its business registration, boosting its registered capital to approximately 1.3733 million yuan.
New investors include the Chongqing Mingyue Lake Sci-Tech Achievement Transformation Venture Capital Fund, LinkerBot (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., the Beijing Koala Kunpeng Fund, and the Chongqing Sci-Tech Achievement Transformation Equity Investment Fund.
Two funds with Chongqing state-owned backing stand out. One is the Mingyue Lake Pan Fund, whose primary investor is Chongqing Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Construction & Development Co., Ltd. That firm's parent, Chongqing Liangjiang Investment Group, serves as a key urban developer and operator in the city. The other, the Chongqing Sci-Tech Achievement Transformation Equity Investment Fund, also carries local state-owned backing.

The entry of these two Chongqing-based funds underscores the city's intent to strategically bolster its industrial chain at the core software level, as it cultivates the robotics sector as a "rising star" industry.
Another key investor, LinkerBot operates in the robotic dexterous hand hardware space. Its participation as both a customer and a shareholder sends a strong signal of industrial synergy. To some extent, it validates the value of BeingBeyond as an upstream model supplier — a value now deeply endorsed by hardware partners.
Prior to this, BeingBeyond secured tens of millions of yuan in a June 2025 funding round led by Legend Star, with participation from Z Fund, Yanyuan Venture Capital, and Binfu Capital. The capital is earmarked for ramping up R&D, accelerating model iteration and industrial verification, and strengthening technological barriers and product competitiveness.
Founded in early 2025 by Lu Zongqing, an associate professor at Peking University, BeingBeyond focuses on developing general large models for humanoid robots. While the industry rushes toward software-hardware integration, the company is taking a distinct "software-only" path, aiming to build a robotic "brain" that can be deployed across brands and hardware platforms. Its core offerings include the Being-H series for dexterous hand manipulation and a control model for whole-body mobility currently under development.
Currently, the company's latest Being-H0.5 model can control 30 different robot configurations and is optimized for deployment on common edge-computing chips.
