Seeds | Dextrous hand specialist Heyman Tech raises tens of millions of yuan in funding

Gasgoo Munich-  Heyman Tech, a Hangzhou-based dextrous hand specialist, announced on June 1 that it has closed a new funding round worth tens of millions of yuan.

This marks the company's third funding round this year. On February 11, Heyman Tech secured investment from Dongfang Precision and Leju Robotics; by early March, it had attracted further backing from Yida Capital and 01 Ventures. Since its founding in mid-2025, the company has now completed seven rounds, raising nearly 100 million yuan in disclosed funding.

With the fresh capital, Heyman Tech plans to accelerate the construction of mass-production lines and optimize manufacturing processes. Building on its three core product lines, the company aims to expand systematically from specialized applications into home services, commercial services, and industrial automation.

Founded in July 2025 and headquartered in Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City, Heyman Tech focuses on the R&D and industrialization of dextrous hands. Its core team boasts an average of eight years in robotics R&D, with several members having contributed to the design of samplers for the "Jiaolong" submersible. Leveraging this deep expertise in underwater equipment, the company has quickly focused on breakthroughs in waterproof and precision operation technologies for dextrous hands.

Heyman Tech has launched three products targeting specialized sectors, industrial manufacturing, and frontier research:

WA100 Waterproof Dextrous Hand: Breaking the limitations of dry environments, this model offers superior water and dust resistance, as well as pressure and corrosion endurance. The engineering version can withstand extreme conditions like high pressure at 10,000-meter depths and strong electromagnetic interference, enabling precise operation. It is also adaptable to household water scenarios, facilitating the integration of robots into daily life.

IN100 Industrial Dextrous Hand: Designed specifically for industrial settings, this durable, high-precision model is tailored for high-intensity, high-frequency tasks in factories, supporting the industrial deployment of embodied AI robots.

RE100 Research Dextrous Hand: Targeting the academic research sector, the RE100 features open interfaces and a high degree of freedom. It serves algorithm verification and frontier research, driving technological innovation in dextrous hands.
