Gasgoo Munich - On Feb. 4, DroidUp announced the completion of a nearly 100 million yuan Pre-A+ financing round. The round was co-led by the Shanghai Pudong Leading Area Investment Center and Shanghai Zhangjiang Sci-Tech Venture Capital Investment Co., Ltd., with follow-on investments from the Henan Ketou Industrial Development Investment Fund and others. Notably, the company also brought in Qingdao Zhenghe Industrial Co., Ltd. (003033) and a member of Xiamen Solex Technology Co., Ltd. (603992.SH) as strategic industrial investors.
DroidUp said the proceeds will primarily fund a new push into human-machine symbiosis. The focus is on emotional value services, such as IP activation and companionship, as well as deepening its presence in emerging scenarios like elderly care. The goal is to accelerate the commercial rollout and large-scale application of cutting-edge technologies.

By leveraging deep expertise in bionic robotics and multimodal emotional interaction models, DroidUp aims to build bionic agents that possess both "warmth" and "soul." Specifically, the company isn't just chasing extreme human-like aesthetics and movement; it's focused on embedding an intelligent core capable of understanding, responding to, and actively caring for human emotions. This approach addresses the rising demand for emotional companionship and personalized services.
Guided by this philosophy, the company has rolled out several products, including the silicon-based girl Moya, the "Xueba 01" robot doctor IP, and the general-purpose bionic humanoid platform "Walker No. 3 (X3B)." These offerings span four key scenarios: role performance, educational empowerment, flexible operations, and emotional interaction.
Moya stands out as the world's first fully embodied intelligent bionic robot. By fusing human aesthetics with human-like motion and an intelligent core, it achieves emotional perception and flexible action replication. Meanwhile, "Xueba 01" was developed in collaboration with the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, combining knowledge output, human-like interaction, and artistic expression through opera.
On the commercial front, DroidUp has successfully adapted its products for the market across three core scenarios, securing more than 1,000 intended orders to date.
