Gasgoo Munich- On April 20, FLYAGE, an eVTOL developer, announced it has closed back-to-back Angel+ and Angel++ funding rounds totaling more than 50 million yuan.

Proceeds will primarily fund the R&D, trial production, and flight testing of its F2500 series aircraft.
Founded in 2025, FLYAGE is a high-tech firm specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and application of advanced eVTOLs. It is the first domestic player to develop an eVTOL architecture combining range extension with a full tilt-rotor configuration.
Founder Li Debiao brings nearly two decades of deep experience in the aviation industry, having overseen the full development cycle of multiple military and civil aircraft models. Combining state-owned R&D discipline with private-sector commercial acumen, Li excels at translating cutting-edge technology into airworthy engineering products — a blend of "national team pedigree and market-driven agility" that defines the company's core edge.
The core team, meanwhile, comprises top domestic aviation experts and former technical leaders from major AVIC institutes. All members graduated from elite aviation universities with strong academic backgrounds, and the company's headcount has reportedly grown to nearly 100.
