Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo has learned that Cedarobo, a consumer-focused embodied robotics company, has closed a new funding round exceeding 100 million yuan. The round was backed by investors including Shenzhen Capital Group, Vertex Ventures, Qianhai Ark, Origin Yuan, Lightspeed China Partners, Kunlun Capital, and Rongyi Investment.
This comes shortly after the company closed a 100 million yuan round in late 2025, co-led by InnoAngel Fund and Kunzhong Capital.
That marks two funding rounds in just three months — a move that underscores investor confidence in the startup's rapid evolution. Notably, Shenzhen Capital Group doubled down across both rounds.

Cedarobo began independent operations in 2025, focusing on the R&D and mass production of embodied intelligent robots. The company's CEO, Cai Youfei, formerly served as vice president of R&D at RoboSense and as product director for XPENG's ecosystem. He brings over a decade of deep experience in the robotics sector and a track record of serial entrepreneurship.
The CTO, a former technical lead at Tencent AI Lab, offers deep expertise in cutting-edge fields like multi-agent systems, generative AI, robotic vision, and heterogeneous computing, backed by extensive experience in commercializing technology.
The core team also draws top talent from across the embodied intelligence sector. Several members held key roles at leading firms like DJI, Huawei, Tencent, and XPENG, bringing full-stack R&D capabilities that span complete robot development, AI large-model architecture, high-speed vision, and multi-degree-of-freedom control systems.
Leveraging this expertise, Cedarobo has developed a multi-functional consumer robot. Powered by proprietary technologies including an embodied intelligence large model, high-speed dynamic 3D perception, multimodal semantic analysis, and intelligent control algorithms, the robot offers advanced interaction capabilities. The company also engineered high-power-density motors and a high-speed chassis, paired with an eagle-eye perception system and high-precision V-SLAM positioning. This setup grants the robot 360-degree environmental awareness and long-range precision recognition, ensuring rapid response and accurate movement.
