This occurred less than two months after disclosing its previous round. Boyu Capital led the investment, with existing shareholder New Alliance Capital participating. The company focuses on consumer home scenarios and has secured back-to-back capital injections in a matter of weeks.

Since launching pilot tests in the second half of 2025, Futuring Robot's robots have been deployed in more than 300 real-world homes. By March 2026, they had logged over 30,000 hours of service. Starting this January, prototypes achieved more than a full month of high-frequency, uninterrupted operation in actual home environments—free from human intervention, faults, or accidents. Daily tasks ranged from cleaning and organizing to child and elder companionship, pet care, and security monitoring. User satisfaction hit 97%, with prototypes fully booked for rental. This extensive, long-duration testing demonstrates that the robots offer tangible reliability in unmodified real-world settings.
On the technology front, Futuring Robot has introduced the AVLA paradigm in the field of embodied intelligence. It has built expertise in decomposing long-horizon tasks, dual-arm manipulation, and multimodal perception. The team is now pushing deeper by integrating the World Action Model (WAM). By focusing on "next physical state prediction," they aim to enable robots to simulate action consequences within an imagined space. This creates an intelligent closed loop from "imagination" to "action."
The core team hails from top-tier institutions including Stanford, MIT, Columbia University, Princeton University, and China's Tsinghua, Peking, Fudan, and Shanghai Jiao Tong universities. Their backgrounds span embodied intelligence, human-computer interaction, and the integration of large AI models with robotics. This gives them full-stack capabilities from underlying algorithms to hardware design. The company has established a dedicated R&D fund worth hundreds of millions of yuan. It is committing to long-term investment in basic research and frontier exploration. Futuring Robot has also partnered with key laboratories at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. It also collaborates with research institutes at Alibaba and ByteDance. In February, a collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong's State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration came to fruition. It boosted robot positioning precision from the sub-millimeter level to "silk level" (0.01 mm). Accuracy showed no degradation over 1,000 hours of continuous operation.
Futuring Robot plans to unveil its next-generation robot in the first half of this year. It features a lighter design tailored to a wider range of home scenarios. The prototype will make its public debut at the upcoming Beijing International Robot Technology and Innovation Expo. Official sales are scheduled for the second half of the year under a new pricing strategy.
