Seeds | GAC-Incubated Robot Company, Completes 100 Million Yuan Financing

Gasgoo Munich-Guangdong Huilun Technology has secured 100 million yuan in financing, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence. The capital will primarily fuel vertical model optimization, expansion into automotive production lines and broader service scenarios, and the iteration of core products. It also aims to bolster the talent team, driving the large-scale deployment of humanoid robots and their key components.

Positioned as GAC Group’s independent vehicle for embodied intelligence, Huilun Tech officially established its presence in Guangzhou’s Huangpu district in February 2026. The company now fully assumes responsibility for GAC’s humanoid robot R&D and commercialization operations.

Leveraging GAC Group’s two decades of expertise in vehicle manufacturing, autonomous driving, and supply chain management, Huilun Tech has built a comprehensive technical architecture. This system addresses critical bottlenecks—reliability, cost, and supply chain—that hinder mass adoption. It spans everything from underlying hardware and full-machine R&D to motion control, vertical industry models, and operational scenarios.

Specifically, the company has developed proprietary capabilities in core components, including axial flux joint motors, integrated joint modules, high-power drivers, and dexterous hands with rigid-flexible hybrid structures. It has also iterated through four generations of its wheel-footed humanoid robot.

The fourth-generation model, the GoMate Mini, features a variable wheel-foot structure with three switching modes. This design balances rapid mobility, obstacle traversal on complex terrain, and portability. It offers more than 8 hours of battery life on a single charge and possesses the ability to autonomously right itself after a fall.

Powered by vertical industry models, the GoMate Mini handles high-tempo tasks on automotive assembly lines—such as sorting, transport, and assembly. Beyond the factory floor, it manages comprehensive duties in industrial parks, including reception guidance, delivery, facility maintenance, and emergency response. Its applications span factories, commercial complexes, and rail transit systems.

Huilun Tech is currently collaborating with partners across automotive manufacturing, smart manufacturing, supply chains, and operations. The focus is on demonstrating robotic utility in areas like material flow on production lines, production assistance, and equipment coordination, as well as park reception, delivery, and facility services.

To date, nearly 50 GoMate Mini units have been deployed across seven representative projects. The longest continuous operation for a single project has reached 12 months, accumulating roughly 63,000 kilometers in travel and completing about 189,000 anomaly handling tasks. The company has secured orders totaling nearly 10 million yuan.

Simultaneously, Huilun Tech is accelerating the build-out of its mass production system for joint modules and complete robots, laying the groundwork for a planned capacity of 10,000 units.
