Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo has learned that Shanghai OYMotion Information Technology Co., Ltd. (OYMotion) officially closed a C1 funding round on March 26. The round was led by the Shenzhen Brain Science and Brain-Like Intelligence Industry Investment Fund (CICC Brain Science Fund) under CICC Capital, with participation from several existing shareholders.
OYMotion marks the first investment for the CICC Brain Science Fund. Having secured backing from the controlling shareholder of Sanbo Brain Science Group in 2023 and Tianjin Heying Capital in 2025, the company stands as the only brain-computer interface (BCI) firm in China to be funded by two specialized brain science investment funds.

Founded in 2015, OYMotion specializes in non-invasive neural signal sensing and AI analysis. The company has developed a suite of core products—including electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG) sensors, smart bionic hands, neuro-rehabilitation exoskeletons, and embodied intelligent dexterous hands—successfully bringing related BCI technologies to large-scale commercial use.
Targeting BCI applications, OYMotion pioneered a "Brain (EEG)-Muscle (EMG)-Machine (ROBAT)" trinity system. Its proprietary non-invasive, multi-modal neural signal fusion architecture creates a real-time closed loop—combining EEG intent recognition, EMG motion decoding, and robotic execution feedback—to achieve seamless conversion from neural commands to precise actions.
Currently, the company's ORF series rehabilitation exoskeletons are widely used in motor function reconstruction for patients recovering from strokes or brachial plexus injuries.

Beyond this, OYMotion is expanding into embodied intelligence. Leveraging its core non-invasive neural sensing and AI analysis technologies, the company has built a comprehensive product matrix spanning "Neural Interface-AI Interaction-Robot Execution."
Key offerings in this sector include the ROHand series dexterous hands—such as the ROH-Lite S001 lightweight high-precision model, the ROH-AP001 tactile dexterous hand, and the ROH-AP002 hybrid tactile force-control model. The company now serves nearly 100 downstream humanoid robotics clients.
