Gasgoo Munich- On Feb. 27, PNDbotics announced it raised hundreds of millions of yuan in a funding round led by CITIC Goldstone. The capital will be channeled into precision manufacturing equipment, a smart manufacturing center, and core R&D — cementing the industrial foundation for applications across industrial and research sectors.
Founded in 2023, PNDbotics is focused on building mass-producible robots and an ecosystem platform. To that end, the company has cultivated full-stack capabilities spanning software and hardware.
On the software side, PNDbotics has mastered traditional model-based gait planning and Whole Body Control (WBC). But it's also pushing forward, integrating embodied AI and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) to enable robust motion and generalized manipulation in complex environments.
In hardware and engineering, the company has bridged the gap from theory to mass production. By refining high-precision encoders, high-performance reducers, and specialized servo motors, PNDbotics achieved vertical integration across the entire stack — from core components like motors and drivers to robotic joints and complete robot bodies.
Beyond that, PNDbotics has rolled out core hardware products including a Robot Control Unit (RCU), a high-performance Battery Management System (BMS), and integrated modular actuators.

Building on this technology, PNDbotics has introduced the full-size humanoid robot PNDbotics Adam. During the 2026 Spring Festival Gala season, the PNDbotics Ada model took the stage on two major national broadcasts — CGTN's "2026 Super Night" and CCTV-1's "2026 Intangible Cultural Heritage Gala." The stable performance before a global audience of hundreds of millions served as a real-world validation of the product's reliability and quality.
To support precision mass production of its full-stack components, PNDbotics established a smart manufacturing center in Tianjin spanning thousands of square meters. The facility is equipped with professional machinery, including five-axis machining centers and high-precision drilling and tapping centers. It also integrates specialized processes like cryogenic storage, high-temperature drying, and precision magnetic polishing — completing a production system that runs from core components to final assembly.
The center currently boasts an annual capacity of hundreds of humanoid robots. This marks a milestone for PNDbotics, effectively bridging the "last mile" from laboratory R&D to industrial-scale delivery of embodied intelligent manufacturing.
