Gasgoo Munich- GASGOO Embodied Intelligence has learned that Shandong Youbaote Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as YOBOTICS) recently closed an A+ funding round exceeding 100 million yuan. Led by Dongzheng Capital, the round saw participation from new investors Jinan Xianxing Investment Group and Zibo High-tech Venture Capital, while existing backer Legend Star doubled down. Cumulative funding for YOBOTICS has now reached several hundred million yuan.
Fan Yong, chairman and general manager of YOBOTICS, said the fresh capital will help translate technical strengths into mass delivery capabilities. The company plans to expand its nationwide production and service network while pushing deeper into high-risk applications such as mining, emergency response, and the power sector.
YOBOTICS' core team traces its roots to the Robotics Research Center at Shandong University and the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Leveraging years of technical expertise, the firm has built a full-stack, self-developed system spanning core components, robot bodies, motion control "cerebellums," and intelligent "brains."

Specifically, YOBOTICS is currently tackling high-dynamic motion control and proprioception for legged robots using world models and reinforcement learning. The firm is building a domestic, high-integrated controller based on a high-compute, low-power heterogeneous multi-card architecture, effectively constructing a "robot brain" system.
The company has established a complete intelligent loop covering environmental perception, task breakdown, autonomous execution, and dynamic optimization. This addresses a key industry pain point: the inability of traditional robots to adapt to unstructured environments like underground mines and disaster zones. YOBOTICS has also rolled out a "Smart Control Multi-Form" product matrix for special-purpose robots, enabling its core technology to empower a wide range of robotic forms.

At the recent 2nd World Humanoid Robot Sports Games, YOBOTICS' humanoid robot "Walker Taishan" dominated the tug-of-war event, securing the first gold medal for the Shandong delegation.
On the application front, YOBOTICS' quadruped products have expanded "Robot+" demonstration projects across expressways, telecommunications, power, cultural tourism, and ports. They are now widely deployed in sectors including energy and power, emergency rescue, smart transportation, and public safety.
Building on this foundation, YOBOTICS will initiate R&D and technical iteration for next-generation high-power-density integrated joint modules, industrial and consumer humanoid robots, and heavy-duty, explosion-proof quadrupeds.
Leveraging the combined resources of its diverse new shareholders, YOBOTICS plans to capitalize on Shandong's robust industrial ecosystem. With its Shenzhen subsidiary now operational, the company will break ground on a Central China base and assembly facilities, tightening its nationwide production and service network to boost mass delivery capabilities.
