Gasgoo Munich-Futuring Robot announced it had closed a Pre-A funding round. The round, totaling nearly 1 billion yuan, drew backing from internet giants, industrial heavyweights, leading consumer brands, prominent funds, and existing shareholders.
This marks the startup's third publicly disclosed funding round this year. In early January, Futuring completed a 200 million yuan angel round led by ZhenFund, with participation from Lianxin Capital, Yuanlai Capital, and several existing shareholders from Zhangmen. Then in early March, it secured another round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, led by Boyu Capital with continued support from backer Lianxin Capital.
Founded in 2022, Futuring Robot has emerged as a key player in China's consumer-grade home robotics market. Committed to a full-stack, self-developed technology roadmap, the company's core team—comprised of talent from top global universities and industry veterans—is focused on refining embodied intelligence for household environments.

The company has so far launched two products, the F1 and the F2. The F2 officially debuted in April of this year. The release of a next-generation robotic brain—the Self-Evolving WAM—is scheduled for May 2026 and will be integrated directly into the Futuring F2.
Positioned as a dedicated home butler, the F2 represents Futuring's second-generation general-purpose robot. It covers a wide range of domestic scenarios, including childcare, elder care, pet companionship, and basic housework. Its capabilities span interactive play, study supervision, educational toys, English tutoring, tidying up, chess, security patrols, and daily chores.
On the technical front, the F2 is equipped with this new robotic brain, enabling a leap from "reactive execution" to "proactive decision-making." Specifically, the system reconstructs instances of "near-success" and "near-failure," leveraging failure data for continuous optimization to make the robot's decisions more precise and discerning.
Together, they form an AVLA + World Model dual-engine framework: AVLA provides a stable foundation for skill execution, while the World Model handles mental simulation, evaluation, and reverse optimization. This shifts the robot from passively reacting to commands to actively simulating possibilities, selecting optimal actions, and evolving through a closed-loop data process—truly adapting to the dynamic, unstructured complexity of home life.
Currently, Futuring's robots are in paid use across more than 500 households, having logged over 50,000 hours of service with a 97% satisfaction rate. Long-term feedback from these real-world environments is driving continuous iteration of the F2, improving its interactive experience, task execution, home adaptability, and service stability.
