Gasgoo Munich- X Square Robot has secured hundreds of millions of yuan in a fresh funding round, according to Gasgoo. The round was led by industrial heavyweights SAIC Financial Services and the CICC-SAIC Fund, with significant follow-on investments from existing backers including Meituan Longzhu, Sequoia China, the Beijing Information Industry Development Investment Fund, CDB Finance, Qifu Capital, Ince Capital, and GF Xinde.
This marks the company's second financing round in 2026. Just last month, in mid-January, X Square Robot announced the completion of a 1 billion yuan A++ round, backed by top-tier investors including ByteDance, Sequoia China, the Beijing Information Industry Development Fund, Shenzhen Capital Group, Nanshan Zhanxintou, and Wuxi Innovation Capital.
Since its inception in late 2023, X Square Robot has completed 10 funding rounds, including two raises worth nearly 1 billion yuan each, according to data from Qichacha. Other investors in the company include Lenovo Star, the Shuimu Tsinghua Alumni Seed Fund, Alibaba, and Guoke Investment.

Since its founding, X Square Robot has focused on developing foundational models native to the physical world. By building AI-native, integrated software-and-hardware solutions, the company aims to serve practical commercial and daily life scenarios.

Furthermore, X Square Robot has independently developed a range of data collection devices, including master-slave teleoperation systems, exoskeletons, and bodyless units. This has enabled data validation and model breakthroughs across different equipment types. The company has also established a model-driven data pipeline that continuously generates large-scale, high-quality data through generation, filtering, augmentation, and annotation processes.
Leveraging its full-stack self-developed technology, X Square Robot has launched two high-performance robot bodies: "Quantum One" and "Quantum Two." It has simultaneously achieved full self-development and deep algorithmic adaptation for core components—including robotic arms, joint modules, power drivers, and main controllers—driving a significant reduction in overall machine costs. Regarding commercial deployment, X Square Robot has gradually expanded into high-value sectors such as industrial manufacturing, logistics, and elderly care.
