Building a Battery-Swapping Network for Heavy-Duty Trucks
The two parties plan to develop battery-swapping stations for heavy-duty trucks by combining Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group's highway network and roadside resources with CATL's standardized QIJI Energy battery-swapping technology and network-based operating capabilities. The vehicle-battery separation model and standardized swapping process are intended to improve energy replenishment efficiency, reduce overall logistics costs and accelerate the large-scale adoption of new energy heavy-duty trucks.
Integrating Solar Power, Stored Energy and Charging Infrastructure
The two parties will jointly develop photovoltaic power generation, stored energy, and charging and battery-swapping facilities along highways. The initiative aims to increase the local utilization of clean energy and support lower-carbon highway transportation operations.
Expanding Collaboration Across the Value Chain
The cooperation will also explore opportunities in full-lifecycle power battery services, battery dismantling and recycling, and the low-altitude economy. The companies aim to develop an integrated transportation-and-energy model combining green energy supply, intelligent battery-swapping services and smart operational management.
CATL said it will continue to deepen cross-sector collaboration between transportation and energy to support the green and low-carbon transition of transportation in northwest China.
