Gasgoo.com (Shanghai December 10) - Shanghai General Motors has ordered a recall a portion of its 2011 imported Chevrolet Captiva crossover SUVs, the Nanfang Daily quoted the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine as announcing. The recall is targeting 869 vehicles in China.

The recall was issued due to a fault with the fill caps on the Captiva's (pictured) fuel tanks. The fill caps may become detached when driven under high speed, resulting in potential fuel spillage. The joint venture will undertake free inspection and replacement of all affected vehicles.
