Gasgoo Munich- Gasgoo News reported on April 12 that at the 2026 Smart Electric Vehicle Development High-Level Forum, Seres President He Liyang took the stage to outline the company's strategy. Centering on AITO's operational track record, he detailed Seres' "innovation-driven premium mobility" strategy, revealed user metrics and technical blueprints, and identified four key innovations designed to build core competitiveness and drive sustained breakthroughs in the high-end intelligent EV arena.
He Liyang noted that the automotive sector serves as a critical carrier for developing "new quality productive forces," aggregating technological breakthroughs across industries and accelerating convergence. Over the last five years, AITO has leveraged cross-border collaboration and the principle of software-defined vehicles to transition toward AI-empowerment and AI-defined vehicles, effectively reshaping the industrial chain. By utilizing an "industrial brain" and super factories, the company has established a full-lifecycle smart service system that balances rapid technological iteration with the experience of both new and long-time users.

To forge premium products, AITO has redefined high-end mobility through a "Five Highs" standard—high safety, reliability, performance, quality, and value. This benchmark permeates the entire AITO lineup. He Liyang stressed that four innovations are pivotal to meeting these standards and securing a competitive edge: persisting in cross-border synergy to leverage complementary strengths; empowering products, manufacturing, and management with AI to shift from software-defined to AI-driven operations; relying on a robust supply chain and high-end manufacturing to ensure efficiency and quality; and enhancing smart services to refine the user journey.
On the technology front, AITO has developed an AI-driven Magic Cube platform focused on evolving toward vehicle-level L4 autonomous driving. The company is simultaneously optimizing core modules like powertrains, chassis, and cockpit-driving integration, while building a comprehensive safety framework that covers passive, active, and inherent safety. Additionally, the rollout of Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADAS 4.1 is underway, significantly boosting driving safety.
User data indicates AITO has amassed over 1 million users, with pure electric driving accounting for more than 70% of total mileage—a figure that continues to climb. Active users of assisted driving features now exceed 97.5%. In the past 30 days, AITO’s eCall accident rate stood at just 0.13 incidents per million kilometers, a 55.2% drop year-on-year. Under assisted driving scenarios, the rate fell to 0.07 incidents per million kilometers, down 56.3%. Over five years, cumulative OTA updates have surpassed 9.41 million deployments, ensuring the product remains constantly fresh.
He Liyang revealed that Seres has constructed an "industrial brain" to digitally integrate its supply chain, while its super factories employ integrated die casting and digital twins to achieve full digital-intelligent vehicle management. Looking ahead, Seres plans to ramp up R&D investment without prioritizing short-term profitability, accelerating the expansion of its product portfolio. The upcoming AITO M6 will fill a gap in the family lineup, achieving full coverage across the AITO 5 to 9 series as the company continues to deepen its presence in the premium intelligent EV market.
