SUNWISE Hydrogen Energy Equipment Innovation Center Officially Put into Use in Jiading, Shanghai

Gasgoo Munich- Shanghai SUNWISE has officially launched its hydrogen equipment innovation center and manufacturing base in Waigang Town. Spanning roughly 20,000 square meters, the facility comprises two four-story industrial buildings that blend production, R&D, and administrative services, creating an estimated 150 new jobs for the local area.

Designed as a collaborative innovation hub, the center houses core facilities such as R&D laboratories and integrated equipment workshops. Gao Dingyun, co-chairman of Shanghai SUNWISE, noted that the facility is equipped with advanced experimental apparatus and professional gear. The goal is to create a unified platform for scientific research, scenario demonstrations, standard-setting, and safety evaluation — ultimately strengthening the company's ability to design and manufacture hydrogen equipment from individual components to complete systems.

Since its founding in 2004, Shanghai SUNWISE has focused exclusively on hydrogen energy technology and engineering, sitting at the forefront of the industry in hydrogen station system design, safety assessment, and core equipment development. To date, the company has designed and built over 100 hydrogen refueling stations, including sites in Anting and Tongxin, as well as a mother station at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, boasting full-chain service capabilities ranging from key components to system integration.

Looking ahead, SUNWISE aims to drive the clustering of the hydrogen industry chain and accelerate the integration of technological resources. The company plans to deepen its presence in hydrogen station construction, on-board hydrogen storage systems, and green fuel power generation, injecting fresh momentum into the region's green energy transition and the industry's high-quality development.
