Suzuki China plans to separate its Chinese auto import business from ChangAn Suzuki’s sales network, report National Business Daily, citing sources from ChangAn Suzuki’s Beijing sales office.
Instead, Suzuki will establish six imported vehicle sales locations in Beijing next year, says an unnamed sales agent from ChangAn Suzuki, in line with Suzuki China's previous pledge to build wholly-owned sales stores in the country.
ChangAn Suzuki was established in June 1993, with Chongqing ChangAn Automobile (000625) holding a 51 percent stake.
