Gasgoo Munich- Tank kicked off its "OTA Evolution Month" on Nov. 2, rolling out over-the-air updates in batches for the 2025 Tank 300, 2025 Tank 500 Hi4-Z, and the all-new Tank 400, Tank 500, and Tank 700. The update centers on assisted driving, vehicle control, and the smart cockpit, under the official theme: "More Comfortable Rides, Safer Journeys."

Assisted driving takes center stage in this update. A new "roaming parking" feature lets the vehicle autonomously hunt for a spot in unmapped lots — a simple voice command handles the parking or pull-out. Select models now support three-point turns: under NOA, the system can execute multi-step steering to navigate narrow roads or obstacles, and if space runs out, it safely brakes and prompts the driver to take over. An automatic emergency steering assist has also been added, steering the vehicle into a safe adjacent lane when braking alone isn't enough to avoid a collision.
On the vehicle-control front, select models gain agile steering to tighten the turning radius, plus a car-wash mode that disables the rain-sensing wipers, radar alerts, windows, and sunroof with one tap. Some variants also add auto-close for windows in the rain and a rescue mode. The batch brings visual polish as well: revamped dashboard widget layouts, new 3D vehicle-model colors, and refined infotainment font sizes and UI styling.
For the smart cockpit, a new "Cheyu" media app aggregates short videos, music, news, and mini-dramas. Ximalaya gets an upgrade, joined by a mic-less karaoke feature and a native Bilibili app. Smartphone integration expands with ICCOA Carlink wallpaper sharing and screen mirroring, plus a HUAWEI HiCar desktop mode. Sentry Mode 2.0, dashcam privacy settings, and door-ajar reminders have all been refined. New additions include AI proactive services and AI scene cards, while Amap rolls out custom voice packs, AI traffic-light navigation, and automated commute settings.
Tank notes that rollout timings will vary by model. Updates require the vehicle to be parked safely with the parking brake engaged — the car cannot be driven during the process. The over-the-air update applies only to the models listed above, and feature availability may differ depending on the specific vehicle.
