Gasgoo Munich- On April 24, Yijing Auto held a brand launch at the Auto China 2026 under the theme "Yijing: Smart Leadership, New Horizons."
Yijing Auto is a premium new-energy vehicle brand born from a deep partnership between Dongfeng Motor and Huawei Qiankun, centered on a "full-stack native co-creation" model. The two giants have poured in billions of yuan and assembled a 5,000-person team, committing to joint operations, product definition, development, and marketing throughout the entire lifecycle. This collaboration establishes a new "Jing" model, setting a fresh industry paradigm for cooperation between state-owned automakers and Huawei Qiankun.
As the brand's inaugural model, the Yijing X9 flagship SUV made its global debut.

The Yijing X9 measures 5,301mm in length, 2,015mm in width, and boasts a 3,120mm wheelbase. It stands as a rare flagship in the large six-seater SUV category with a body length exceeding 5.3 meters. That massive wheelbase delivers first-class comfort in the third row, designed to meet the demands of high-end travel scenarios.
Yijing Auto Chairman Wang Junjun said the auto industry is accelerating into the era of embodied intelligence. Yijing aims to position itself as a differentiated brand for "tech geeks," breaking through technical ceilings via a dual software-hardware path to maintain a continuous lead in both technology and product.
According to Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, the Yijing X9 will come standard with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, Huawei Qiankun 896-line lidar, and the Chitu platform—built on the HUAWEI XMC Qiankun digital chassis engine. It also features an all-aluminum chassis tuned by a European team.
On the sales front, Yijing plans to build more than 300 sales and service outlets across 79 key cities nationwide.
Among the dealers already signed, 60% rank in the nation's top 100, while the remainder are regional leaders. Notably, 80% are backed by investors or operational teams from luxury brands. All outlets will be constructed to unified standards.
Yijing Auto said it plans to launch five products over the next three years. The company will continue to focus on safety, intelligence, and open co-creation, with the goal of becoming a globally leading smart vehicle brand.
