The complaints from China auto owners boomed in March, especially on quality

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Apr. 15th) – Last week, Our reporter had learned from www. 12365auto.com there were total 4,677 complaints from auto owners in March, increasing by 92.46% MoM and by 97.43% YoY. On Apr. 8th, China Industrial and Commercial Bureau announced related supervision departments would examine and govern on the issues involved.

In accordance with the statistical data from China Consumers Association, the complaints on auto have been on the rise in recent years. There were total over 14,000 cases about automobile last year, among which quality issue was the main reason, occupying over 40%. Industry analysts point out the related data of complaints in March has set several records in China auto history.

The data showed the main complaint of quality issue in March was the oil leak of engine, which had become the typical case. Other quality issues includes noise of engine and gearbox, water leak, shift issue, engine oil issue, shake of engine and gear box and noise of braking.

The staff in Guangdong consumers' association figures the main reasons are the influence of International Day for Protecting Consumers' Rights and unsatisfied manager level and quality of auto practitioners while auto industry increasing rapidly.
