Neither prices nor sales showed much movement compared to a year earlier in The Netherlands' new car market.
Prices increased slightly, by 0.3%, which was less than in most other European markets. Price trends in most segments were in line with European trends, although Mini segment prices fell by 3.4% while MPV prices were up by 2.2%.
Overall, the average price of a new car in the Netherlands is 16% higher than in the other euro currency markets.
Sales volumes remained largely unchanged; they fell by 0.2% although the Upper Medium segment showed a steeper decline of 8.4%. Sales of diesels rose by 1.9%.
