Shanghai October 28 (Gasgoo.com) Thirteen models made by Great Wall Motor, including Great Wall Tengyi C30, Xuanli, Hover M2, etc., have been added to the third fuel-efficiency subsidies list, accounting for 18% of the total 74 subsidy-eligible fuel-efficient vehicles that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and the Ministry of Finance announced on September 30, the Economic Information Daily reported Thursday.
Great Wall Tengyi C30
The Tengyi C30, designed to comply with European safety and emission standards, has a wheelbase of 2,610mm and weighs 1,136 kg. It features a 1.5-liter all-aluminum variable valve timing (VVT) engine with maximum power of 77kW and peak torque of 138Nm, as well as continuously variable transmission (CVT), antilock braking system (ABS), electric brakeforce distribution (EBD), dual airbags, sunroof, leather seats and electronic anti-theft system.

The lightweight design ensures that the manual version of the Tengyi C30 consumes only 6.5 liters of gasoline running 100 km under average driving conditions, and the automatic version a fuel consumption of 6.8 liters.
Great Wall Motor, a major Chinese SUV and pickup manufacturer, has invested huge amount of money in R&D of products and technologies, in which it will invest another 5 billion yuan ($748 million) in the coming five years.
