Gasgoo Munich- A new-energy vehicle parts project backed by Wuxi Yuanlong Metal Products has broken ground in the northern zone of the Huishan Economic Development Zone, Gasgoo learned from the municipal WeChat account "Wuxi Fabu." The facility will produce precision power-battery components, PET advanced materials, and smart-cabin systems.

The project requires a 600 million yuan investment and spans roughly 50,000 square meters. It will house production workshops and supporting facilities, with completion slated for December 2027. Once fully operational, the site is expected to produce 8 million sets of precision battery components, 5 million smart-cabin frames and comfort systems, and 2 million PET material sets annually. The output targets core NEV segments — power batteries, smart cabins, and advanced-material interiors.
Yuanlong Metal, founded in 2010, specializes in precision power-battery components, PET interior materials, smart seating cabins, and other auto parts. The company runs R&D and production hubs across Wuxi, Wuhan, Xi'an, and Hefei, serving as a core supplier to several major domestic automakers.
Located in the Huishan Economic Development Zone's northern park, the project strengthens Wuxi's local NEV parts supply chain. It also marks another step in the city's efforts to accelerate major industrial developments.
