Toyota Motor Corp.'s domestic production may exceed the year-earlier level by November for the first time in 16 months, the Asahi newspaper reported, without saying where it obtained the information.
Toyota informed its suppliers of a plan to make 14,500 vehicles a day in November, the report said. The newspaper didn't say how many vehicles the company produced last November.
Toyota plans to make 13,900 vehicles in September and 14,500 units in October on a daily basis, the newspaper said.
