Gasgoo Munich- On May 12, Unitree Robotics announced via its official Weibo account the launch of the GD01 — the world's first mass-produced manned mecha, priced from 3.9 million yuan.
Described as a civilian transport vehicle, this mecha is capable of transformation and weighs approximately 500 kg when occupied.

On March 20, Gasgoo reported that the Shanghai Stock Exchange had formally accepted Unitree Robotics Technology's initial public offering application for the STAR Market.
Unitree Robotics plans to raise 4.202 billion yuan in this IPO. The capital will be allocated across four major projects — including intelligent robot model and body R&D, new product development, and the construction of a manufacturing base — aimed at deepening technological innovation and expanding production scale.
From 2022 to 2025, Unitree Robotics's revenue surged from 123 million yuan to 1.708 billion yuan, while net income swung from a loss of 22.1 million yuan to a profit of 288 million yuan, marking a steady upward trajectory.
According to the prospectus, Unitree Robotics sold over 30,000 quadruped robots during the reporting period, cementing its dominant position in the global market.
In 2022, quadruped robots contributed 76.57% of revenue, with 2,403 units sold at an average price of 38,600 yuan. By the first three quarters of 2025, however, sales volume had jumped to 17,946 units, even as their share of total revenue slipped to 42.25%.
