Gasgoo Munich- Valeo Group CEO Christophe Périllat has officially named Jean-Luc Terrasse as chief executive of the Vision Systems Business Group and executive vice president of the group, effective July 1, 2026. Terrasse will report directly to Périllat and join the group's Executive Committee, according to a report by Gasgoo.

Jean-Luc Terrasse brings more than three decades of leadership experience in international operations management, having spearheaded major industrial projects and corporate operations across Europe and South America.
Terrasse began his career at Valeo in 1989, holding senior roles across key functions that spanned operations management, industrial oversight, product development, and commercial leadership. His tenure includes stints in the Engine Management Systems, Body Electronics, and Special Lighting business units. In January 2016, he was appointed vice president of the Wiper Systems Product Group.
Beyond Valeo, Terrasse has held positions at Alstom Grid, Johnson Controls Automotive, and Safran, giving him a diverse, cross-industry perspective.
Valeo CEO Christophe Périllat noted that the Vision Systems Business Group plays a pivotal role in the group's "ELEVATE 2028" strategic plan. The division's roadmap is anchored in two core objectives: driving profitable growth and delivering safer mobility experiences.
