Intelligent driving and software solutions
Valeo's VSS360 intelligent safety system adopts a single-box integrated architecture designed to support L1 and L2 driver assistance functions, along with L2+ highway NOA capabilities. The company's SCALA 3 LiDAR is designed for L3 and L4 autonomous driving applications, offering detection beyond 200 meters and supporting automated driving speeds of up to 130 km/h.
Valeo's anSWer software platform combines validated applications, middleware and cloud-based digital twin verification capabilities. CEO Christophe Périllat said that artificial intelligence and software technologies have enabled Valeo to reduce some development cycles to several months.
Electrification technologies
Valeo also highlighted its electrification technologies, including an 800V integrated electric platform, silicon carbide inverters, bidirectional AC chargers and new thermal management solutions. The company said its single-fluid cooling system can enable battery charging from 0% to 80% within 12 minutes and reduce battery carbon footprint by 50%. However, these performance figures depend on the specific battery system and application conditions.
Additional technologies and applications
Valeo also displayed technologies including 1.3-megapixel high-definition lighting, the AquaBlade wiper system, panoramic head-up display and the in-vehicle immersive gaming platform Racer XR. The company also introduced its remanufacturing business for automotive electronic components.
