At the event, the company exhibited its 64-channel lidar (WLR-733), single-channel lidar (WLR-711), and a dynamic weighing system. The WLR-733 boasts a maximum detection range of 200 meters and a field of view of 360°×40.5°. It delivers spatial modeling for multi-lane free-flow traffic and, when paired with smart-intersection software, enables signal optimization and traffic enforcement.
The WLR-711 operates at a 100Hz scanning frequency, capturing continuous multi-frame point clouds from high-speed vehicles and achieving a vehicle classification accuracy of over 99%. Meanwhile, the dynamic weighing system identifies and flags overloaded trucks at speeds between 0.5 and 100 km/h, keeping relative weight error under 5%. It holds OIML-R134 certification from the Netherlands Metrology Institute and OIML-R60 certification from the UK National Measurement Office.
In South Korea, Wanji has completed bulk deliveries for high-speed dynamic weighing projects — totaling 10 lanes — and deployed smart-intersection and non-site overload enforcement systems across multiple locations.
This year, Wanji’s Korean subsidiary has secured over 20 orders for robotic lidar, adding clients such as Samsung and LG to a roster of more than a dozen enterprises. The company is also partnering with local firms including Hyundai Wia, Robotis, and Navifra. Its lidar units are already running in Robotis’s outdoor delivery robots.
Wanji’s traffic lidar portfolio now spans multiple countries. The 64-channel WLR-733 is deployed in smart intersections across South Korea, Thailand, and the Czech Republic for object and vehicle-size detection. The single-channel WLR-711, meanwhile, has rolled out across more than 10 European nations for automated vehicle classification and traffic-flow monitoring.
