Gasgoo Munich- Visteon (Nasdaq: VC) has released its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, Gasgoo has learned.
Visteon posted $970 million in net sales for the quarter. Even as customer vehicle production slipped 5% year on year, the supplier still outpaced the market with a 10% gain—driven largely by smooth new-product rollouts and sustained demand.
That 10% figure represents organic sales growth—stripped of currency swings and net pricing effects—benchmarked against customer production weighted by sales contribution. It underscores Visteon's competitive edge in the smart cockpit space.

Visteon reported $5 million in third-quarter net income, with adjusted EBITDA landing at $46 million. Notably, the period's results absorbed a $77 million special warranty charge that dragged on profitability; strip out that one-time hit, and the underlying earnings picture looks considerably stronger.
New business intake reached $900 million for the quarter, keeping the order backlog on a healthy growth track to underpin future revenue. Visteon also rolled out 21 new products across 14 customers, widening both its client base and product lineup. Crucially, its core SmartCore™ HPC high-performance computing platform has entered mass production.
All told, the special warranty charge left third-quarter profits looking muted. Yet with sales growth outpacing the industry, a robust order book, and the core HPC platform hitting mass production, Visteon's operational foundation remains solid. Its smart cockpit business is advancing right on schedule.
