Gasgoo Munich- vivo has completed adaptation of its digital car key for GAC Toyota vehicles, with the Bozhi 7 pure electric sedan—launched this March—leading the first wave of support. More models from the brand will be added gradually, the company stated.

With this addition, vivo's digital car key now spans multiple automakers, including Buick, BYD, Changan, and Geely, further broadening its cross-brand compatibility.
The Bozhi 7, the first model to receive this support, hit the market on March 29. It offers five configurations split into 600-kilometer and 700-kilometer range versions. Positioned as Toyota's widest pure electric sedan to date, it is also the brand's first EV flagship equipped with dual-chamber air suspension. The model brings large-sedan dimensions, a Huawei HarmonyOS cockpit, a lidar-based advanced driving system, and dual-chamber air suspension chassis control to the lineup.
Pricing starts at 147,800 yuan. The version with dual-chamber air suspension begins at 170,800 yuan, while the fully loaded trim—combining lidar-assisted driving, the air suspension, and the HarmonyOS cockpit—retails for 179,800 yuan.
At a Bozhi 7 user event on July 24, GAC Toyota unveiled a new battery safety policy. Excluding fires caused by external sources, the manufacturer will cover direct compensation for any battery fire resulting from quality defects, undercarriage scraping, or traffic collisions. This marks the first time the automaker has shouldered full liability for battery fires not caused by quality issues.
Meanwhile, addressing user concerns over battery warranty duration, the company clarified that the Bozhi 7 comes with a lifetime warranty for its core electric powertrain components. The model was tested for a durability target of over 20 years during development to ensure long-term reliability. GAC Toyota pledged that even if the vehicle has been in use for more than eight years, any battery malfunction will trigger a free full-cell replacement at no extra cost to the owner.
