Gasgoo Munich- Geely Auto Group and Volvo Cars reached a final agreement on September 10, 2026, covering commercial cooperation for the Lynk & Co brand in Europe. From January 2027, Volvo Cars will serve as Lynk & Co's exclusive distributor in the region and assume responsibility for its local commercial and brand operations. The partnership is intended to support the brand's expansion across the European market.
Under the agreement, Lynk & Co will transition to a more scalable retail model in Europe while retaining a brand identity centered on contemporary design, sportiness and individuality. The company aims to strengthen its positioning as a premium new energy vehicle brand.
Lynk & Co will use Volvo Cars' established European commercial infrastructure, particularly its retail and after-sales network, to expand customer reach and support growth in the region. The arrangement also forms part of Geely Auto Group's broader strategy of strengthening coordination among its brands in key overseas markets.
The cooperation will not involve any change to Lynk & Co's ownership structure. Geely Auto Group will continue to lead the brand's global product design, research and development, regulatory certification and overall brand strategy.
Lynk & Co will remain part of Geely Auto Group's global ecosystem, with its product lineup complementing Volvo Cars' offerings as the two companies address a broader range of customer needs.
